Founder and senior trainer of Fit-Physique is Catherine Rose, a personal trainer and ex-dancer from the UK. Full profile can be read in the Trainer Profiles section

The Fit-Physique philosophy is to create well structured, tailored fitness training programs for each individual client, that will enable them to achieve all their goals and reach their full potential. Areas covered include: Weight loss, body sculpting, sport specific performance enhancement, pre and post natal programs, injury rehabilitation and prevention, postural correction and general health improvement. We are now able to provide further injury rehabilitation support through links with a recently opened private physiotherapy suite which also houses a sports physical therapist, sports massage therapist and private one to one personal training gym. It is our belief that exercise specialists and therapists can best work together to provide a complete program of recovery, exercise and complimentary therapy, which will enable the individual to return to full activity as quickly as possible.   Philosophy

In each case the body will be looked at as a whole, regardless of goals and a full evaluation given to each client pror to starting any program. Attention in every case will be paid to posture, alignment, muscular balance and exercise and injury history. This will ensure safe and effective exercise is performed, thus helping prevent future injuries and aging postural deterioration. Building a strong and stable foundation is an essential part of every program and will ensure better results in the future without sacrificing target timescale.

  Service

Programs will be delivered on a personal basis during one to one sessions, by a fully qualified and experienced exercise professional. Sessions can be gym, home or field based as required and this can be varied as and when necessary. Not only is consideration given to each instructor lead session, a program to follow between sessions during the clients own time will be discussed and prescribed where necessary. Clients' current activities and commitments will be taken into consideration, alongside the reality of how much they want to achieve within a given time frame.

E-mail support will be provided by the trainer as and when required. Trainers will also refer to medical professionals if needs be.

  Diet & Nutrition 

Attention to diet and nutrition will be made where necessary and monitored on a weekly basis by way of a food diary. Not getting the right nutritional balance can be a significant stumbling block to achieving results in many areas including weight loss, muscle gain and performance. Clients will be made fully aware of the importance of proper nutrition to their success. Diet plans can be given, as well as simple changes suggested to current eating patterns/habits that are realistic for each individual. It is understood that changing eating habits is not something that comes easily to everyone and although some people want fast results and can manage the discipline required to achieve them, others are simply looking for a way to lead a healthier, leaner lifestyle that they can easily manage now and into the future.  In the latter case emphasis will be on learning to make small changes that will easily fit into the clients’ lifestyle and acquiring the knowledge to make healthier food choices overall on top of managing cravings and personal pitfalls.
